Reading Award Scheme 2023-24
- To qualify for an award, you are required to read the following number of books and produce evidence of your reading:

Notes:
- Reading records can only be accumulated for one academic year.
- Students can hand in English Language or Chinese Language book report assignments, reading activity assignments, book cover designs or bookmark designs as evidence of reading. If there is any doubt about the quality of reading evidence, the Head of Library Prefect and teachers from the Reading and Thinking Enhancement Team will make the final decision.
- The prize for each award of the Reading Award Scheme is as follow:

- Apart from seeking entry for the Reading Award Scheme, students are also encouraged to attain the “Keen Reader Award” from the “Extensive Reading Award Scheme”. A stamp will be put on the form upon your return of a book to the School Library. By the end of the scholastic year, a certificate of recognition will be given to those who have read 20 books or more.

- Submission method: upload the Content Page and reading evidence onto google classroom (code: ptqyc5n). You need to join the classroom with smccited account.
- Reminder: It is not necessary for teachers to mark your book reports.
- Extensive Reading Award Scheme
- Deadline: 6 May 2024
- Submission method: Reading and Thinking Enhancement Team teachers will announce in April 2024 about the method of submitting the Keen Reader Award Form.
- Book Reflection Competition
- Deadline: 18 March 2024
- Submission method: upload the completed form onto google classroom (code: mvbgupt). You need to join the classroom with smccited account.
- Reminder: Soft copy of the Book Reflection Competition Form can be downloaded from the google classroom.
